Job Description Apply: Head of Capital Management
A major life insurer who are going through a period of growth are seeking to hire a Senior Capital Actuary with strong leadership skills to manage the Capital Management function supporting the Chief Actuary in optimising the balance sheet and assessing new assets and new risks. Primarily you will lead an experienced team of senior actuaries which is responsible for setting and reviewing assumptions and capital methodologies (with a particular focus on credit risk). As part of this role, you will oversee the businesses approach to best estimate Solvency II (with exposure to the IFRS impact on business performance too). You will sit on several committees and interact extensive interactions with investment committees.
This would suit an executive-level actuary with no less than 10 years of PQE as well as strong experience within capital management and leading teams.
