Job Description Apply: Global Actuarial Model Risk Director
A global reinsurer are seeking to hire a Global Actuarial Risk Director for a high profile and internationally focused position which will report into their CRO. This role will be a 2nd line review position with a particular focus on strengthening their model risk governance across all business areas (pricing, capital, valuations, R&D). Your team will be responsible for challenging assumptions and looking to work constructively to better understand and improve controls. This role will be a management position and will have extensive exposure to senior management across the business and you will represent the Risk function at Committees. To be considered for this position you should be a technically minded actuary with regards to understanding a broad range of models.
You would need to be present in London 1 day a week (sometimes more). As such, candidates from all across the UK willing to agree to 1 day a week in London would be considered.
