General Insurance Risk Actuary
Job Description
Our client, a leading international specialty insurer, has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified GI actuary with demonstrable knowledge of the specialty, commercial, and/or reinsurance sectors, to lead the profitability analyses using traditional reserving methods for numerous business units.
Contributing to the use and expansion of a newly-created claims data production and monitoring process, you will determine and establish early warning indictors and analytical risk identification practises.
You will also contribute to actuarial analytical evolution, which may include: range analysis; large loss modeling; portfolio optimization; trend analytics; and industry benchmarking.
With demonstrated working knowledge of reserving and risk analytics, the successful candidate will be proficient with data manipulation, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, MS Office, Power BI).
