Are you interested in moving on from a permanent actuarial role to become a contractor? Apply to this role to arrange an informal conversation to explore your options.
We are working with several Life Insurance clients who can often accommodate a 1 month month notice period. Candidates with a good background in Financial Reporting, Capital Modelling or systems development (e.g. Prophet development) are likely to have some good options to consider.
It is advisable to be prepared to be flexible in terms of location as roles in London are extremely competitive and usually require faster starts. If you are willing to work in the Midlands, North, South Coast, South West or perhaps Scotland, you will find the process easier and will still earn significantly more than you would in the permanent equivalent.
