EXCLUSIVE: Corporate Pensions Assistant Manager
Job Description
Star Actuarial has been given an exclusive mandate from a major global consultancy to seek a part-qualified pensions actuary to provide clients with defined benefit pension schemes.
In this exciting and diverse career opportunity, your focus will be on the public sector but also schemes in the private sector.
You will provide strategic planning and risk management advice to a range of clients, with a view to them achieving self-sufficiency or buy-out/endgame options.
You will also deliver strategic funding advice to sponsors as well as advice on compliance with the DB funding code.
In addition, you will assist clients with pension due diligence on mergers and acquisitions alongside benefit change, benefit design and implementation.
Some knowledge of DB pension scheme valuations is essential for the role, as is team leadership skills and experience of advising Trustees/corporates on scheme funding.
