Job Description
Leading-edge pensions consultancy is seeking a talented data scientist to provide consulting and actuarial tools to support its actuarial and administration business.
You will be responsible for maintaining a number of the firm’s high-profile tools which are predominantly Excel and Python-based.
You will support a number of coding projects planned to improve existing tools and make them fit for the future which will include development and testing of some web-based services and databases.
With a keen interest in actuarial maths and IT, the successful candidate will possess an analytical mind-set, with a high level of numeracy and coding skills.
Experience of scripting using Python programming language essential; familiarity with Excel and VBA, Tableau, Power BI and R scripting using scientific packages desirable.
