Job Description Apply: London Market Pricing Contract - up to £1500 p/d

Our client is seeking a part-qualified or qualified GI actuary with experience in either pricing or reserving to provide actuarial support for the underwriting teams to aid profitability and ensure continued buy-in to pricing models and technical price considerations.

You will carry out deep-dive profitability reviews, including preparation of the data and analysis of the profitability of business (sub)segments, ensuring the results of these analyses are used to drive business decision making and updates to pricing tools.

You will also assist in ensuring that there is an effective feedback loop between actuarial, claims and underwriting on the business written as well as within the actuarial team to ensure relevant information is fed back to capital modelling and reserving actuaries.

Strong computer and programming skills are essential: Excel, SQL (or similar).

Knowledge of VBA, R, Python or another programming language desirable. @Risk experience would be a bonus.

Contract: 6 months.
