Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified non-life actuarial contractor with a strong understanding of risk-based capital and financial risk management to be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the insurance regulatory entity’s Internal Capital Model.
In this highly responsible and visible role, you will lead the delivery of the insurer's Solvency II Pillar 1 (Risk Quantification) requirements and maintain the PRA’s regulatory internal model approval.
You will also lead the Capital Modelling team to ensure the ongoing production, development, documentation and primary validation of all relevant models including Insurance Risk, Operational Risk, Counterparty Default Risk which contribute to the insurer's internal capital model.
In addition, you will lead an effective 1st line working relationship with the insurer's 2nd line (Risk Function) and 3rd line (Audit Function) of defence while contributing to the annual Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and Scenario Analysis & Stress Testing (SAST) requirements.
