Job Description Apply: Chief Actuary
A growing life insurer in the South West are looking to hire a Chief Actuary to manage its small actuarial team and operations whilst fulfilling its regulatory requirements. You would work closely with the CFO, CEO and the wider leadership team on commercial and strategic matters. This role would involve managing their finance function (Solvency II reporting) and have oversight of their Risk and Pricing functions.
This could either suit an ambitious qualified actuary seeking a first Chief Actuary role or even a much more experienced Chief Actuary level individual who would find working in a smaller and more entrepreneurial operation as an attractive challenge (particularly if you are keen to achieve a better work/life balance). Ideally you will have had some exposure to protection products, although this isn't essential.
