This is a significant career development opportunity to support the delivery of predictive analytics, supporting our client's growth across all of its lines of business by utilizing data-model-driven insights to meet the key strategy and vision of the firm.
Overall, you will be responsible for supporting a data and analytics-driven culture within the business, collaborating cross-functionally in order to continually improve best practices.
Keeping abreast with new technologies, you will also maintain knowledge of the impact of emerging Generative AI as well as data scientist practices, sharing these insights with the team.
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrable, hands-on experience of statistical modelling, machine learning, text mining and data visualization tools.
You will also be proficient in data manipulation, statistical analysis and predictive modelling, using tools such as R, Python, SAS, or similar.
Previous experience in life or health insurance and/or reinsurance is desirable.
Experience with the following would be a bonus: Azure components; Databricks; graph analytics; GenAI; Large Language Models; and Knowledge Graphs.
