Job Description Apply: ALM Actuarial Analyst
Goodman Masson are recruiting for an assistant manager to join the ALM team of a life insurer. The amount of ALM activity has changed in the last 2-3 years. The internal activity in the annuities space has reduced as more automation has been implemented there.
This Life Insurer is expanding their ALM activity in the non-annuity space which will be the focus of the role. This is a large organisation with plenty of opportunities for internal mobility later in your career.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the ALM activities of the finance function for all the insurer's UK entities
- Support the management of market risk with production, analysis and hedging activities
- Communicate and strategise with the asset investments and liabilities reporting teams
Key Requirements:
- Part-qualified to Nearly/Newly life actuary (by exams or experience) with UK experience
- Experience in life insurance consulting or life insurance
- Experience with more than one actuarial skill/function
- You must be eligible to work in the UK - these rules have changed recently so when applying please state your eligibility to work in the UK. (E.g. British passport, Irish passport, ILR, settled status, etc.)
