Job Description Apply: Actuary
Qualified Actuaries who are looking for a broad and varied role are invited to apply to this Actuary position working with a Global Life Insurer. Based in either London or on the South Coast you will be exposed to a wide variety of responsibilities including; Financial Reporting, Economic Capital, Scenario and Sensitivity Assessments, Model Development, Pricing, Experience Analysis and Annual Operating Plans. There is also an opportunity to manage in this role as you will be overseeing a small team of students.
Applicants with the following background are encouraged to apply:
- Newly Qualified Actuaries with significant experience in the Life Insurance sector either from a Consultancy, Insurer or Reinsurer
- A range of experience, ideally including Valuation, Pricing or Modelling
- Any experience managing or overseeing junior staff/student actuaries is beneficial
- Good knowledge of Life products including With Profits, Term Assurance, Critical Illness and Income Protection is preferred
