Job Description Apply: Actuarial Systems Leader
A very unique role has arisen which can be offered on a fully remote basis (or with time spent in the office in London), for an Actuarial Systems Manager. You will be working on the most advanced aspects of modelling in the life insurance industry. This role is at the very forefront of the insurance modelling industry, and supports tool developments globally for life insurers and reinsurers. You will work with the best actuarial developers in the world and other colleagues to design new modelling features and functionality. In this role, you will build your understanding of technology to a new level, further your knowledge of global life insurance products and regulatory developments affecting the insurance industry worldwide.
This opportunity would suit an ambitious actuarial systems developer with expertise in at least one of the main actuarial software’s (such a Prophet, RAFM, AXIS, Mo.Net, Tyche) who is looking to problem solve at the cutting edge of changes affecting the global actuarial community.
To be considered for this role you must have several years of model design, coding and testing experience (in “open” actuarial platforms).
You will be an experienced project manager with good regulatory awareness. If you have Asset liability modelling and management experience that would be highly beneficial too.
Ideally, you will have good skills in VBA, R, C#, C++ or other programming languages.
