Job Description Apply: Actuarial Pricing Manager
A new opening has been created for a Pricing Actuary to work within a Life Insurance business specialising in protection. No previous pricing experience is needed, so a great opportunity to get pricing on your CV if that’s an area you have not worked in previously. Your responsibilities will include running pricing models, experience analysis, setting assumptions, basis setting and pricing investigations. You will be part of the management team, present to c-suite stakeholders and offer guidance and support to the more junior members of the team.
To be considered, your background should resemble the following:
- Qualified Actuary with experience working in consulting, insurance or reinsurance within a Life role
- Good understanding of protection products
- Sound knowledge of Solvency II, risk management framework and governance principles
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to present to a wide and diverse audience
- A team player willing to go the extra mile
On offer is a good base salary plus pension, life cover, medical insurance, annual bonus and flexibility to work from home 2 days per week (while offices are closed it will be 5 days per week from home). Study support is provided to those with final exams to sit. You will form part of a very collaborative and supportive team where you can continue to develop your skills and there are options available to rotate internally when you are ready for a new challenge within the Capital Management, Risk, Reporting or Modelling teams.
