Job Description Apply: Actuarial Consultant
A new vacancy has been created within a traditional life insurance company based on the outskirts of London for a nearly / newly qualified actuary. The successful candidate will join the actuarial team in either reporting, risk, pricing or capital management. This position is part of an ongoing rotation programme where you will have the opportunity to move every 18 – 24 months to a new team if you so wish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to build variety on their CV and ensure their work remains challenging and interesting. In order to be considered for this role you will:
- Have a strong academic record and strong progression with actuarial exams
- Have experience in at least two actuarial areas such as reporting, pricing, risk, capital management or modelling
- Have strong business acumen and are able to make credible business decisions
- Be a strong team player and work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
This is a key role within the Life Actuarial Team where you will be in regular contact with internal and external stakeholders, you will conduct investigations and analysis as well as lead projects. You will work closely with your team to identify efficiencies and improve processes, and genuinely add value not just to your team, but to the wider business.
