Goodman Masson are currently recruiting for a global life insurance provider who are looking to take on a student actuary within their reporting team.
This business provides a wide range of products across protection and annuities, life and health so they are looking for a student with experience of working within a life insurer who has a strong foundation in either reporting, capital, risk or modelling. You will be studying towards your actuarial exams and have passed your CT papers (or equivalent) - this role provides a full study package as well as support from your manager to ensure you continue to progress steadily with your exams. As well as this, you will be placed on their rotation programme giving you the opportunity to work in 2-3 other teams before qualifying.
The role will begin within the reporting team and the main duties include:
- The delivery of financial reporting results to the head of your business division
- Providing IFRS and SII bases of reporting
- Assist with analytical and investigative duties
- Support the continuous improvement carried out by the team
- Manage stakeholder relationships internally
This role is based on the South Coast and comes with the option to work from home on a weekly basis. They do also support flexible working hours.
