Job Description Apply: Senior Risk Review Actuary
A leading life insurer in the South East are seeking to hire a qualified Risk Actuary for a senior role within this high profile function. As and Risk Actuary you would contribute to all aspects of their ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) framework including taking responsibilities for their ORSA workstreams. This will include work focused on stress and scenario testing. You would also support risk business partners in providing (financial risk) oversight of the first line activities for reviewing pricing initiatives (e.g. assumptions review, new products, bulk annuity transactions). You would review risk for corporate initiatives (e.g. reinsurance, capital optimisation, M&A activity) and would provide risk input into company reports (e.g. SFCR) and review the business planning process.
This role would give excellent exposure to key strategic decisions the company are looking to make and is a very interesting/non-traditional risk role with a great scope of variety on offer. This is not a repetitive BAU role and would suit someone used to working in a dynamic environment. You will be an experienced qualified actuary with relevant risk experience.
