Job Description Apply: Pricing Actuary, Reinsurance & ILS
- Are you a reinsurance pricing actuary (qualification not important) working at a reinsurer, syndicate or broker?
- Are you interested in getting into ILS?
- Do you have a meaningful amount of pricing/modelling experience?
- Are you interested in being the first experienced member and building out tools, processes enjoying a significant amount of responsibility?
If so, we have a very interesting opportunity to work for an emerging ILS/reinsurance division within an established organisation (within the Lloyds market). The role would see you have significant autonomy and as the first pricing actuary/modeller, you will have a big say over how the work is done. Good programming skills are paramount (at least one of R, Python, SQL). The role will cover pricing property treaty, property per-risk and specialty treaty business.
The base salary will probably range from £100k-£120k with a very meaningful bonus potential. This is a role for doers, not managers - we are looking for a hands on person.
