Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified life actuarial contractor to support the consolidation of Solvency II results, production of balance sheet and other reporting items, including responsibility for suitable control and review.
Developing and maintaining knowledge of Solvency II requirements and best practice, you will have responsibility for either the production or review of specific Solvency II and IFRS calculations which are owned by the team such as deferred tax and group expense provision.
You will also have responsibility for the production or review of regular sensitivities and scenarios (Solvency II and IFRS), including writing commentary and presenting results.
In addition, you will play a key role in ensuring transfer of knowledge from other projects impacting Solvency II results in the future, including Internal Model development, and deal integrations.
The successful candidate will have a very strong reporting background and be able to guide others through reports.
A strong understanding of SII balance sheet is also essential.
Experience and understanding of IFRS would be desirable.
FTC: 12 months.
