Job Description Apply: Capital Management Actuarial Analyst
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a student actuary within a Global Insurer based in London. This would suit a student life actuary making good progress with exams with a desire to learn and progress. You will be involved in all aspects of Solvency II including the development of the Solvency II model and producing Solvency II balance sheets for various processes across the business.
You will also have the opportunity to work across other areas of the business such as risk management and other capital-related projects.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Quarterly SII reporting: producing and reviewing results
- Model development and maintenance, identifying opportunities to improve the model and the calculation process
- Orsa: stress-test scenarios, production of the 5-year solvency projection for the ORSA
- Assisting in the production of the ORSA report, SFCR and RSR
- Identifying capital and product opportunities through the use of your actuarial modelling skills
In this role, you will be offered full study support as well as the opportunity to rotate and grow your experience further. To be considered you will have significant Solvency II experience and ideally Prophet and DCS modelling knowledge, although this is not essential. Above all, you will be a strong communicator and have the ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationships.
