Job Description
Leading insurer is seeking a part-qualified life actuary to get involved in all aspects related to Solvency II across Pillars I, II and III with a focus on maintaining and developing the Solvency II model and producing Solvency II balance sheets.
In this exciting career development opportunity, you will support the production of the 5-year solvency projections for the ORSA and the related Stress & Scenario testing calculations.
You will also assist with risk appetite work, particularly assessing whether the SCR coverage risk appetite remains appropriate.
In addition, you will identify capital and product opportunities through the use of analytics and actuarial modelling techniques and then measuring the financial impact of proposed changes, risks and opportunities.
With the ability to demonstrate Solvency II technical knowledge and experience with practical application, the successful candidate will also possess Prophet and DCS modelling knowledge.
