Job Description Apply: ALM Actuary
An opportunity has arisen for an ALM Actuary to join one of the leading financial services providers in the UK. They are aggressively growing their market share and this is a newly created position to grow their capabilities to win new business.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for building ALM models from scratch with a view to model new business, which can be pitched to funders and to demonstrate the attractiveness of these propositions in line with their existing portfolios. You will have advanced Excel skills (VBA) and will have experience managing a portfolio of different products and will demonstrate a wide understanding of financial instruments.
This role is well suited to a highly quantitative individual who can confidently present their ideas to clients. Although you will be expected to attend occasional client meetings (mostly in London) and to visit the office (post-Covid) on occasion, there will be a huge amount of flexibility for home working.
