Job Description Apply: Strategic and Business Modelling Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for someone with strong modelling skills to join a prestigious investment manager in London. This role, working across the wider Strategic and Actuarial modelling teams, is primarily responsible for supporting the ongoing production and maintenance of potentially challenging modelling solutions with the key objective of informing the Retail business on the financial impact of new opportunities, operational and regulatory changes and strategic business developments. Delivering this will require skills ranging from financial mathematics, statistical analysis and data management to being able to work flexibly across teams and communicating complex themes to others. 

You will support the ongoing development of flexible financial models, many of which will need to incorporate non-standard features. You will Liaise with teams around the business to construct financial appraisals of proposed projects (e.g. new opportunities, broadening product offerings, operational and regulatory changes), 

You must have excellent Excel skills as this role will involve lots of VBA use. Stochastic modelling via SAS or MoSeS would be an advantage, one of the teams they work closely with uses sas.

Ideally you will be a GUE (given up exams) as no study support will be provided and they are not looking for someone who is joining with the intention of progressing to becoming a qualified actuary. / 020 7019 8861
