Job Description Apply: Senior Pricing Manager

This is a highly visible and commercial Senior Pricing Manager role.  You’ll be working with cross functional teams within the company and across the wider group.  Your aim will be to transform an already effective pricing capability into a powerful tool that gives the business a competitive edge.

Whether you’re honing the pricing capability, introducing pricing models or creating pricing levers to control the impact of recommendations, you’ll strive to develop your team, test new ideas and strategies, and where you’ll see the direct impact of your work and the results on our progress.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Tenacious, engaging and confident – you’ll have a collaborative approach, coupled with the ability to engage stakeholders and gain buy-in.
  • You’ll be a hands-on, motivational leader, with previous experience managing in-house pricing teams.
  • It’s critical that you have a strong statistical background and a good quantitative degree (or equivalent) such as Mathematics or Statistics.
  • You’ll also need experience in a statistical role, preferably within a retail pricing department.
  • SAS, EMBLEM and Radar, and a good understanding of Generalised Linear Models, such as Logistic Regression and Log-linear.
  • Your technical expertise enables you to develop elasticity models and optimisation projects from raw data; solve complex business problems; and interpret data with ease.
