Job Description Apply: Senior Actuarial Analyst
A life insurer in the South West are looking to recruit a Senior Actuarial Analyst who is making good career progress. Due to the nature of their business, you will get extensive exposure across all areas of the actuarial department and will initially work very work closely with their Finance Actuary and senior management (including the Chief Actuary) to gaining a wealth of exposure. This would suit an ambitious student seeking to work at a life insurer with an excellent approach to developing their actuarial staff.
You will have first-rate technical ability and be able to interpret, challenge and analyse financial information. After 12-18 months you will rotate within the actuarial function to either Pricing or Capital, furthering your knowledge of the actuarial market and giving you a wider range of career options for the future. They are seeking to hire an actuarial student who has the drive to gain in-depth insight into their growing business. You will ideally be a part-qualified student actuary making solid progress through your actuarial exams and with a background in life insurance from either a consultancy or another life insurer.
