Job Description Apply: Reporting Manager - Zurich

Reporting Manager within the Group Audit Functional Enablement Team, reporting to the Risk Assessment, Planning & Reporting Director. You will have responsibility for supporting the provision of insightful, value added and high impact reporting by Group Audit to Audit and Risk Committees, regulators and Executive Management, across the Group.

Your role
Your objective will be to take the highest profile element of reporting by Group Audit to the next level and in so doing, make a significant contribution to the strength of the client's control environment.

As Reporting Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

Primary responsibility is to support the reporting for Group Audit Committee and Level 1 to 3 Audit and Risk Committees, including both preparation of base data and review of the structure and methodology aspects of the reports
In so doing, develop and implement consistent best practice across the Group and develop the linkage back from reporting to risk assessment and plan development to create a virtuous circle
Secondary responsibility is to then support the development and maintenance of a high quality and right sized risk assessment and Audit Plan that remains responsive to key changes in risk.

Requirements

A university degree
Over 5 years of experience in audit
Significant experience of working in a complex, global organization
Knowledge of the company’s strategic objectives, key products and services, governance, policies and procedures
Superior knowledge of functional areas, as well as a solid understanding of business and audit processes
Understanding of local and international insurance organizations and processes
Ability to very quickly establish strong effective working relationships with Group Audit executive management and team, as well as with ‘second line’ – Risk, Legal, Compliance, Board and local secretariat
Experience of dealing with very important and often sensitive data
Good attention to detail
Being used to set high personal standards and stretch objectives, as well as to focusing on continuous improvement
Strong communication skills - internally with colleagues, as well as externally
Fluent spoken and written English.
