Job Description Apply: Reinsurance Actuary
As a Reinsurance Actuary, you will be a key member of the Reinsurance Team dedicated to meeting all treaty deadlines and contributing to reinsurance tenders. You will offer guidance to junior members of the team and work very closely with senior stakeholders across the business including the CEO and Chief Actuary. As part of your daily duties, you will be responsible for:
- Testing and signing off policy and reinsurance system releases, ensuring premium calculations are correct
- Analysing reinsurance tenders, treaty amendments, distributing quality management and experience analysis
- Communicating the project progress to management and stakeholders across the project
- Being accountable for some large and important pieces of work around company reinsurance strategy and tenders
In order to be considered, you will be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with experience working within Life Insurance or Reinsurance, you will have strong problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication. Good work ethic and a positive attitude are the key attributes this company is looking for, so any background in valuation, pricing, capital management or modelling will be a benefit.
