Job Description Apply: Pricing Actuary - Midlands
Goodman Masson are working with a Specialist Insurance Company who are looking to hire a Pricing Actuary to their team. The role will report into the Head of Pricing and as the second most senior person in the team you will be responsible for the reviewing and mentoring of junior analysts.
You will need to have experience of working in an insurance pricing team either on personal or commercial product lines. The role has come about at a time when this company are looking to advance technically with what they are doing in pricing. You will be helping to embed GLM models and working with the newly established data science team to create more sophisticated models using their vast amount of data.
As this role involves the creation of new pricing techniques you will also be working with other areas of the business and senior stakeholders to get buy-in with what you are building. You will need to be a confident communicator and happy to present to different audiences.
