Job Description Apply: Move into Life Insurance

I am recruiting for a number of opportunities for part-qualified actuaries who would like to move into Life Insurance. My clients are large, well-known and very successful Insurance companies, based in Bristol and Surrey.

This is a rare opportunity in that part-qualified actuaries from any sector (including Pensions) will be considered, so this is a great way to broaden your experience and to do something completely different. One opportunity is to join a financial reporting team, based in the South East and commutable from London. The second opportunity sits within an Actuarial Change team, where you will gain experience of assessing and implementing key changes to actuarial systems, and gain some exposure to using Prophet. Both are excellent opportunities to move into insurance, which will open up a wide range of opportunities in future.

Candidates will have some previous UK actuarial experience in any sector (e.g. pensions or investment consulting) and will be making good progress with the actuarial exams. You will also have good excel skills (VBA is not essential) and both roles will require excellent written and verbal communication skills.

If you are keen to gain Life Insurance experience, please apply now or contact me directly on 020 7019 8861 or james.turner@goodmanmasson.com.
