Job Description Apply: Head of Capital Allocation

Our client a leading Insurer have a requirement for a Head of Capital Allocation who be responsible for efficient capital allocation across the UK and European business and is responsible for challenging the business over their use of capital.

You will be responsible for defining appropriate capital management information and for analysing the MI to identify priority areas of focus for improving capital efficiency.  Furthermore you will deliver capital strategy and drive capital efficiency through embedding an understanding of capital in product design and pricing and through ALM and balance sheet utilisation.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with strong post qualified experience within capital optimisation (ALM, return on capital frameworks, financial risk management etc) and the ability to lead a team.  You will have capital modelling experience and have operated within a SII environment.
