Job Description Apply: Excel/VBA Actuarial contractors
I am recruiting for additional contractors to join an ongoing Rectifications Project with a key client based in Edinburgh.
The role will focus on one of a number of product areas, and will include:
- Analysing different remediation’s plans
- Writing calculation specs
- Building models to calculate the redress for customers
- Testing models
- Dealing with queries from customers
- Treating customers fairly, by looking at the cost implications and being as pragmatic as possible
Candidates will be part-qualified or qualified actuaries and will have:
- Strong technical abilities
- Good systems skills including excel, VBA, SQL, Access and SAS
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience looking at Pensions and Life Insurance products
- GI experience will also be considered
