Job Description Apply: Pensions Actuarial Analyst

Our client is seeking a part-qualified pensions actuary to deliver an end-to-end process from robust calculation of the pensions balance sheet and capital risk/requirements through to delivery on a range of measures to senior internal stakeholders.

In this key role, you will calculate and analyse the Group’s Solvency II capital requirements in respect of pension risk.

You will also run and develop the calculation engines underlying the Group's capital model for modelling distributions of future pension balance sheets and use these to produce meaningful management information for capital and ALM committee meetings.

In addition, you will produce monthly IAS 19 accounting figures for a number of funded and unfunded UK schemes with multiple internal and external users.

An expert use of Excel essential, the successful candidate will possess experience in producing pensions accounting disclosures with knowledge of a range of approaches for setting assumptions (ideally under IAS 19).

Knowledge of statistical modelling software/techniques desirable.

An excellent career development opportunity within a market-leader.

Please contact us to discuss this vacancy or for an informal discussion regarding your career goals. We are very happy to perform bespoke research on your behalf.
